Description: **LATE EDITION** 2008 Eli Manning game used and autographed New York Giants football helmet. The youngest member of the Manning family of Hall of Fame caliber quarterbacks, Eli has proven himself worthy of the name putting up impressive numbers in both his college and professional careers. During his Senior year at Ole Miss he was named the Nation’s best all around player winning the Maxwell Award and was the number one NFL draft pick later that year. In 2008 he lead the New York Giants to one of the greatest upsets in NFL history beating the undefeated New England Patriots and taking home MVP honors in the Super Bowl. The offered New York Giants helmet was worn by Manning during that season. Classic blue helmet by Schutt Sports with applied “NY” logo on either side has the player number “10” in white lettering on both front and back. “NFL” and American Flag logo stickers applied to back. The helmet has been signed in silver paint pen with added “2008 Game Used” inscription rating 10 out of 10. Exhibits fine usage wear with light scuffing to outer shell and sweat staining/rubbing to interior padding. Modern era game-used football helmets with distinct provenance are of notable rarity with the offered coming from one of the games’ great young talents.
