Description: Fine 1888 "Boston Base Ball Club" print. Large format 14"x19 1/2" engraving of a game scene at Boston with illustrated player bodies and matching photographic heads. Spectators are similarly depicted incl. Harry Wright and other baseball magnates. Marked G.H. Hastings 1888, print retains exceptional clarity and contrast with some professionally restored border tears all of which are in the white margins and do not affect display. The print itself measures slightly short around the perimeter and has been matted and framed. Technical condition grade must be VG given the edge tears but appearance is EX or better.Estimated Price Range: ($2,000-$3,000)
