Description: ***UPDATED DESCRIPTION*** Fine Dieges & Clust figural catcher's trophy c.1920s. Superbly detailed 13 1/3" tall trophy features a figural catcher atop a baseball shaped dome with a decorative plinth. Metal base finished in black bears a plaque on front that reads "Pittsburgh Press Trophy Independent Grade Schools Base Ball Championship 1927". Trophy retains superb original patina and has only light overall age wear. **Note: Very close inspection has revealed a subtle vintage repair around the neck area of the figure, otherwise trophy has no significant structural faults: EXEstimated Price Range: ($2,000-$3,000)
