Description: Standard Electric master wall clock and oak cabinet with baseball carved dTcor. Period Standard Electric wall clock features "Bull Durham" carved lettering at the top with baseball themed carved batter, pitcher.. Titled "American League" and "National League" on the respective panels. The clock itself measures 60" in height retaining its original interior movement. Accompanying carved and veneered oak end cabinet has matching baseball carved pitcher and batter, respectively, on the side panels. Cabinet measures 17" deep, 24" wide, and 29" tall with a glass top and houses the clockÆs wiring. All baseball carvings on both pieces were skillfully executed in the modern era after the production period of the piece by an artist much in the manner of the vintage Arts and Crafts baseball parlor suite offered within this auction.
