Description: Spalding figural baseball fielder's trophy c.1929. Fine quality silverplated trophy depicts a classic figural first baseman atop a plinth base. Figural base that normally sits behind player's back foot is absent. Titling on baseball at center of plinth reads "Won By 1929 Shells J.P Hinton Mgr." The trophy retains its original black painted wooden base with applied Dieges & Clust metal label. The trophy remains structurally sound overall with tarnishing and surface wear affecting the metal figural portion in addition to surface wear on the black painted wood base.
