Description: Frank Baker professional model baseball bat c.1917-21. Louisville Slugger 250 Frank Baker signature model bat measures 35" long and weighs 37.2oz. Pronounced manufacturer's markings include "dash dot dash" centerbrand, "hand bone rubbed" symbol at right of centerbrand, and barrel markings including "World Championship Model" beneath facsimile signature. The bat exhibits significant use including grain swelling, ball marks and cleat marks. A modern finish has been added. The bat's impressive physical qualities make this a top of the line Frank Baker professional model bat in spite of the fact that this particular model is not documented via provenance or factory records.
