Description: Wally Pipp professional model baseball bat with Louisville Slugger factory side writing c.1925-27. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 34.8oz. Heavily grained bat displays excellent use including ball marks, handle crack, pine tar residue, cleat marks, and grain swelling. Desirable Hillerich & Bradsby Co. factory side writing is visible (faded) on the barrel end. Pipp was a fine player for the New York Yankees during the early to mid 1920s before sitting out a game during the 1925 season due to a headache.
