Description: 1919 World Series ticket stub. Press ticket stub was issued for games played at Chicago's Comiskey Park. The 1919 World Series between the Chicago White Sox and Cincinnati Reds is best remembered for the infamous Black Sox Scandal, when several members of the Chicago franchise conspired with gamblers to throw World Series games. The best of nine series was "won" by the Reds in eight games with games 3, 4, 5 and 8 played at Comiskey Park.
