Description: Lou Gehrig autographed baseball. Red and blue stitched Harridge AL ball features a bold and neatly rendered signature of Lou Gehrig in fountain pen perfectly centered on the sweet spot. Signature rates 8 out of 10. Ball itself is moderately toned with even soiling throughout and small scattered abrasions. The ball displays perfectly as a single, however close inspection of the east panel reveals the faintest evidence of a faded partial inscription "All my best.." as well as the word "Champions". This additional writing was only decipherable by JSA with the use of their "spectrograph" machine and is not readily visible to the naked eye.
