Description: 1939-41 Wrigley Field photo album with over (115) snapshot images. Interesting photo album was compiled by a fan who had intimate on-field access to Cubs players and visiting opponents. Most of the images measure 3 1/2"x5 1/4" and are close-up, detailed shots of players at Wrigley Field including Cubs - (2) Hartnett, Herman, Hack, Root and Cuyler (coach); Reds - McKechnie, (2) Lombardi, Walters and VanDermeer; Pirates - Frisch (mgr.), V. DiMaggio, Vaughan, L. Waner, P. Waner and Lopez; Giants - Terry (mgr.), (2) Ott; Dodgers - (3) Durocher (mgr.), (3) Medwick, Reiser, Dressen and Babe Ruth; Cardinals - Southworth (mgr.), (2) Mize, Marion and Slaughter. Images are mostly EX-MT or better with about half secured by corner mounts (no adhesive) and the rest with clear tape at corners.
