Description: Shibe Park/Connie Mack Stadium locker. Cast iron and mesh locker originated from the collection of veteran Philadelphia area collector Paul Hill. Retaining a period coat of paint, which has alligatored from age, the locker remains in original condition with the exception of an indentation on the mid-left side. The top shelf remains along with the hooks that held literally hundreds of jerseys over the years during the time of Ruth, Foxx, Gehrig, Klein, Mathewson, Cobb, and even Joe Jackson. The display possibilities for this piece are endless. 24" deep x 32" wide x 78" tall, accompanied by photographs and other supporting documents of the locker in Shibe Park.
