Description: 1975 Tommy Lasorda auto. Los Angeles Dodgers professional model road jersey. Grey knit jersey features original blue team name on front and red number "52" on left breast. Back has last name "Lasorda" and number "52" stitched on in blue. W.A. Goodman & Sons manufacturer's tag stitched inside collar notes size "44". A grey strip tag remains on tail front reading "Set 2 '75" in blue embroidered lettering. Jersey exhibits evident usage and wash wear. Lasorda has signed the back of the jersey with the added inscription, "To Bob, You and the Dodgers are great". After a brief career as a left-handed pitcher, Tommy Lasorda became one of the most enthusiastic and successful managers in baseball history. Known for his fondness for pasta and pitching, the jovial Lasorda led the Dodgers to eight division titles and two World Championships in 21 seasons as manager. This completely original and unaltered jersey dates from the last year of Lasorda's tenure as a coach for the Dodgers before taking the helm as Manager in 1976.
