Description: Babe Ruth autographed photograph with related large format image c.1930-40s. Matted and framed display contains a pair of original sepia tone images that originated from the estate of the initial recipient. The display includes an 8"x10" image picturing Babe Ruth and two other gentleman with various hunting implements. Photo is signed in blue fountain pen, "To Mr. Matthews Sincerely Babe Ruth" rating 9 out of 10. The photo is also signed by "Bob Edge" who is presumably the other gentleman in the photo. Image itself remains fairly clean with bold contrast and some typical light surface crazing. Small portion of the bottom left corner is missing which is not visible under the matted display. The display also includes a large format 11"x14" image picturing Babe Ruth and the two gentleman with a car-load of game including deer and a black bear. Impressive period display piece with a very fine condition grade Ruth signature.
