Description: Fine Lou Gehrig single signed baseball c.1928. Lightly toned Wilson "Official League" ball with W.G. Bramham stampings on a side panel (Southern League President 1924-30) has been signed by Gehrig on a side panel in black fountain pen rating 7/8 out of 10. A period ink date of "April 6, 28" is written at the base of the same side panel. The ball itself exhibits typical age/handling wear with a small hole on one side panel from previous a mounting, which is surrounded by a 1/2" abrasion. One of the finer Gehrig single signed baseballs that we have handled with uncommon large format signature style.
