Description: 1951 Joe DiMaggio trophy plaque with photographic provenance. Attractive shield shaped mahogany plaque has an incised brass placard inscribed to DiMaggio from the "Diamond Social Club & Citizens of Vineland, NJ" in "recognition of his outstanding and sterling qualities of character...". Measuring 15" tall, the plaque has crossed bat and ball decor with only some minor surface wear. Includes an original 1951 photograph from DiMaggio's personal collection of Joe receiving the award.
