Description: 1970 New York Mets Welcome Home Dinner collection incl. (28) autographs. As the reigning World Champion "Miracle Mets" returned to defend their 1969 crown in 1970, they gathered for the sixth annual "Welcome Home Mets" dinner at the New York Hilton. The offered group of mementos originate from that occasion and include (28) die-cut "Hot Stove" themed cards intended for the purposes of gathering autographs. Individually signed cards bearing the Mets logo and "World Champions 1969" include Seaver, Ryan, Berra, McGraw, Kranepool, Sadecki, Garrett (2), Harrelson, Foy, Clendenon (3), Jorgensen, Marshall, Taylor, Weis, Shamsky, Jones, Grote, Koonce, Gentry, McAndrew, Caldwell, Boswell, Swoboda, Pignatano and Koosman. Signatures average 8-9 out of 10. Also included are two dinner menus, three ticket ordering promo pamphlets, two 1970 Mets yearbooks and a 1970 season schedule.
