Description: 1997 Ryne Sandberg auto. Chicago Cubs professional model home jersey. Home white knit pinstriped shirt features Cubs logo on front and embroidered team logo patch on left sleeve. Opposite sleeve bears the Jackie Robinson 50th Anniversary patch. A velcro tab has been added inside opening at front. Player #23 and last name "Sandberg" are stitched on back. Russell Athletic tag on front tail notes size "46" with adjacent flag tags noting "100% polyester", "1' extra length" and "1' extra sleeve length". A strip tag on the front tail notes "23-46-97". Sandberg has signed the front in blue sharpie. Shirt exhibits light to moderate usage wear. Completely original and unaltered shirt from this Hall of Fame Cubs great who redefined the second baseman position with his combination of defensive prowess and power hitting exploits.
