Description: Spalding Fielder's figural baseball trophy with customized inscribed placard c.1920s. Seldom seen, the graceful fielder standing on a metal platform reaching for a ball is the rarest of the five trophy set. Silverplated base remains in uninscribed original condition retaining its original wooden painted base with Dieges & Clust metal tag. Trophy retains wonderful unpolished original patina and has only light overall age wear inclusive of some typical scratching to the black painted wooden base. 16" tall: EX-EX/MTEstimated Price Range: ($2,500-$3,500)
