Description: Late 1970s Issac Curtis Cincinnati Bengals professional model helmet. Riddell helmet has "Bengals" logo decals applied on either side. "Riddell" maker name is noted on the front bumper and there are a number of labels applied inside, one of which has player number "85" written on in period marker. The number is also written on one of the straps which secures the suspension style interior. An additional row of air bubble padding which rings the lower back of the interior, combined with style of the Riddell marked bumper, lead us to late 1970s era dating (the team switched logo style in 1980). Nice use is evident throughout and there period chinstrap and two-bar facemask are attached. Curtis is a member of Bengals Ring of Honor and was named to their 50th Anniversary Team in recognition of his time with the franchise. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions: EX
