Description: September 4, 1983 Johnny Bench autographed and hand notated 388th career home run baseball (second to last home run). Rawlings C.Feeney Official National League baseball has been signed "Catch Ya Later, Johnny Bench" on the side panel. The opposite has been inscribed by Bench himself "Home Run #388, St. Louis, Bruce Sutter, 3-Run PH." These notations are done in the same style as those which appeared on home run balls which we offered directly from the Bench Collection in our November, 2020 sale. The handwriting and autograph rate 8 and 8/9 out of 10. Ball shows appropriate soiling and wear.
