Description:Monstrous collection of (25,000+) baseball player (and related) autographed index cards in library style cabinets. Enormous collection is perhaps the largest we have ever offered intact and is comprised of over (25,000) baseball player/related autographs. By percentage nearly all are on index cards however there are few similar size/type items and/or cuts mixed in. Content spans the entirety of the 1900s starting with a handful of players who debuted pre-1910 and extends through the 2010s. They are largely broken down into (3) "sets" which do duplicate each other, the first having the largest quantity, second lesser as they duplicate the first, and the third even fewer as they duplicate the first two. In addition, there are even more extras and the group finishes with several thousand as yet unidentified/filed players whom our consignor relays are mostly minor league and/or college. The collection surely includes a number of tougher signers and there are some Hall of Famers and stars mixed in. Our consignor has relayed that there are approx. (9,000) different signers. A full breakdown of content is not feasible however a spreadsheet furnished to us can be forwarded however it should serve as only a rough guide and we cannot guarantee that any specific players listed will be included. Signatures generally appear to rate 7 out of 10 or better (some lesser) with small portion personalized. Please note - given the sheer volume of material an authenticity screening is not possible and it should be assumed that there are a some secretarial or otherwise non-authentic signatures mixed in. The group is housed in a large library style cabinet which is comprised of (4) sections that stand a total of 50" tall with 17"x33" footprint. These sections include (2) with (3) rows of drawers, (1) with a single row, and the last are larger approx. 8.5"x11" drawers in which sheets of paper or magazines can be stored. There is some age/storage/handling wear to cabinet (including a few breaks and small missing slats in one section): GD-NM
