Description: Super Bowl XI game worn Mike Siani Oakland Raiders professional model jersey (Siani letter of provenance). White mesh jersey has a "Siani" nameplate across the back and number "49" on the front, back, and shoulders. In the collar is a Medalist Sand-Knit tag (size 42) with the Taveggia & Brusati resellers tag above. Proper wash tag is inside. The jersey includes a signed letter of provenance from former Raiders wide receiver Mike Siani who confirms that he wore it during Super Bowl XI and there is a touch of appropriate light use. Siani was Oakland's first round draft choice and in 1972 set several team records for a Rookie, finishing as runner up to Franco Harris in NFL Rookie of The Year voting. He spent (6) seasons with in Oakland appearing in over (70) games with (32) starts. His most memorable game was surely played on January 7, 1977 when the Raiders defeated Minnesota in the Super Bowl. It was the first Championship won by the Raiders who were dominant throughout and Siani recovered a late onside kick by the Vikings which ensured victory.
