Description: Rare 1958 Baltimore Colts NFL Championship souvenir pennant (Greatest Game Ever Played). Uncommon offering as issued for the 1958 NFL Championship in which the Baltimore Colts defeated the New York Giants to capture the title. The game was historic in that it was televised before a national audience which is credited with launching the popularity that the game enjoys today. Full size blue pennant with team name in gray along with "1958 National Football Championship Yankee Stadium" titling. Full Colts mascot game scene at left end. This specific pennant is notably condition sensitive with the offered example showing ag fading along with some surface losses to the white border strip at left end and pinoles at corners.
