Description:Jim Langer's personal Football Hall of Fame gold jacket - Langer "wore during my Induction ceremony" handwritten letter. Classic golden yellow sportscoat issued to Jim Langer has an "NFL Alumni" patch on the left front chest. It carries on the long standing tradition of such pieces which are issued to those inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton and they have become a symbol of the highest level of success within the sport. It is important to note that the Hall of Fame reissued new jackets to all members in 2013 to replace those which were aging, this example is the original which was given to Langer in 1987. Langer ranks among the greatest centers in NFL history and was a key fixture on the Miami Dolphins Super Bowl VII and VIII Championship teams. He was on the field for every offensive down during their storied 1972 "Perfect Season." In (12) seasons he was named first-team All-Pro four times and earned six straight Pro Bowl selections. The jacket has an "Imperial by Haggar" tag on the inside and is size "52L." It shows expected wear with some moderate fraying to the patch.
