Description: 1969 Kansas City Royals professional model road uniform. Grey flannel jersey and pants dating to the inaugural season of the Royals franchise displaying team name across the front in blue tackle twill with matching number "5" on the back. "44' 69 5" size/year/number chain stitched onto tail front along with Rawlings manufacturer's label, dry clean tag, and "Det 1 1969" flag tag. MLB 100th anniversary patch remains affixed to the left sleeve. Includes matching pants with Wilson manufacturer's label on interior waistband. Fine evident use and wash wear throughout. Uniform #5 was not on the Royals' MLB roster until 1971 indicating likely use in spring training. Very tough inaugural frachise year style.
