Description: Eleanor Gehrig autographed Lou Gehrig photographic display plaque. Dated 1940 photographic plaque featuring a laminated original black and white image of Lou Gehrig in Yankees uniform. The photo is signed by Eleanor Gehrig on behalf of Lou who was no longer able to sign due to his debilitating illness. Signed, "To Mickey May I always prove worthy of your friendship, Sincerely Lou Gehrig Christmas 1940". Signature and inscription are a touch faded rating 5/6 out of 10. 10"x12" overall size.
