Description: 1885 Washington Nationals photographic display. Photographic print showing members of the 1885 Washington Nationals, then an Eastern League team who would join the fledgling National League the following year. Most notable among the group is Hank O'Day who would pitch for several more years before embarking on his second career as a Hall of Fame Umpire. The piece measures 10"x13.5" mounted to heavy stock and appears to be a photograph taken of another photograph and likely dates to sometime after the original was taken (perhaps the early 1900s).
