Description: Louisville Slugger correspondence from the Williams Collection with autographed 8"10" photo. Trio of letters sent to Ted Williams by Louisville Slugger related to the opening of their museum in 1996. The is signed by Jack Hillerich and invites Williams to attending the opening of the museum as an honored guest. Included with this letter are copies of Williams original Slugger endorsement contract and his factory ordering records; an additional letter from Hillerich (this one signed with first name only) thanks Williams for his participation in the upcomming events and lays out some preliminary details; and the last (from a different sender) offers aid in making arrangements and gives an idea of scheduling. Typical mailing folds and light handling wear.
