Description: "Big League Baseball Stars on TV" advertising display with Mantle and Williams c.1950s. Large format advertising display done on 19.5"x24.5" heavy stock was issued to promote a series of instructional television shows produced by Hood to encourage use of their line of P.F. Canvas Shoes. A number of the most prominent stars of the period are shown including Hall of Famers Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Roy Campanella, Robin Roberts, Warren Spahn, Red Schoendienst, and Minnie Minoso. Striking display value with some light/mild general handling and storage related wear that primarily effects the corners/edges. Easel backing is only partially intact.
