Description: 1995 Cal Ripken Jr. autographed Baltimore Orioles professional model jersey. Black alternate jersey has "Orioles" team name across the front with number "8" below. Number also appears on the back below a "Ripken" nameplate. Russell Athletic tag on the front tail notes size (48) and there is a "95" printed year tag adjacent along with custom length and "Polyester" flag tags. Signed and inscribed "Cal Ripken Jr, Iron Man, 5-30-82 - 9-6-95 2131" in silver marker rating 8 out of 10. Use and wash wear are evident throughout with some fraying and minor puckering to sewn on portions. The 1995 season proved to be one of the most historic in recent memory as Ripken approached, tied, and then broke Lou Gehrig's (56) year old streak of consecutive games played. The feat is on a very short list of records across the entire spectrum of sports which are likely to never be broken.
