Description:Fine Ken Griffey Jr. professional model baseball glove c.1995 (PSA/DNA). Mizuno "World Win" glove done in blue tanned leather has "Ken Griffey Jr 24" embroidered on the outer thumb in teal stitch. Griffey was a Rawlings endorsee at the time so the Mizuno wriststrap tag was removed and a "Rawlings" was added in its' place in an effort to disguise the maker. The included PSA letter notes, "Though not his primary game glove during the 1995 season, the presence of the Rawlings wrist label, indicates its intended use during Major League games." Mild wear is evident throughout. "The Kid" earned his 6th consecutive Gold Glove Award in 1995 recognizing his stellar defensive play. Late in the season he would author one of the most memorable moments of his career during the 1995 ALDS. After falling behind (2) games the Mariners won (3) in a row with Griffey scoring from first in the bottom of the 11th inning of Game (5) to defeat the Yankees.
