Description: Spalding figural baseball fielder trophy c.1920-30s. High quality silverplated figural trophy depicting a baseball fielder reaching for a baseball. Detail and workmanship are done at the highest level of skill and the player stands atop metal base with "Spalding Trophy" lettered on the front. Wooden plinth base has a small "Dieges & Clust" marked placard affixed. Fine overall condition with some light wear and metal portions have presumably been "cleaned" at some point with the silver colored wash no longer present.
