Description: Unique Ted Williams "practice bat" - autographed (6) times with (1) "The Kid" inscription. Louisville Slugger 125 model W215 bat is done in similar style that which Ted Williams would have used. It served as a "practice" bat on which Ted would test out his signature and it has been autographed a total of (6) times. In addition, he added a "The Kid" inscription once. Review of the signature styles suggests that the bat was used over a period of time as several show signs of having been done later in life. All appear in blue marker and are strong however there is a faint ring of surface wear around the barrel which effects all to a minor degree. A unique piece and very attractive for display.
