Description: Baseball decorated occupational shaving mug c.1890-1900. Hand painted porcelain mug depicts a batter/catcher graphic on the front panel with gilt name "C.G. Notherwang" at the top. Marked "GDA, France" in green on the bottom, 4" tall. The base has a repair to a fissure and a fairly large crack (overlapping the bottom of the painted on scene) however these do not have overwhelming effect on display value: See description
