Description: Impressive 1978 Mike Wagner professional model Pittsburgh Steelers jersey (Super Bowl championship season - Steelers Pro Shop hologram). Medalist/Sand-Knit size 44 white road jersey with #23 sewn on the front, back, and both shoulders, along with "WAGNER" nameplate sewn on the back. "78" year tag is sewn next to the "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Pittsburgh Steelers" Medalist/Sand-Knit tagging on the front tail. Steelers Pro Shop serial #GU-109646 hologram sticker is on the jersey, and is shown in their database as being a "#23 Mike Wagner Game-Used Game Jersey". Wagner was a member of all (4) Steel Curtain era Super Bowl championship teams, and was selected to (2) Pro Bowls. He started every game at safety in 1978, and recorded 2-interceptions to go along with 2-sacks. The season culminated in a Super Bowl XIII victory over the Cowboys, with Wagner tallying 3-tackles in the game. Wagner's place in team history is well defined by his selection to their 50th Anniversary Team, Steelers Hall of Honor, and Pittsburgh Pro Football Hall of Fame.
