Description: Rare 1989 Detroit Pistons "Bad Boys" NBA World Championship Ring. Highly desirable NBA World Championship ring as issued to members of the infamous "Bad Boys" Detroit Pistons team that earned a reputation as one of the most physically imposing in league history. 14K gold ring features an inset diamond on top of just under ½ total carat weight. above a basketball net of seven smaller diamonds on a red and blue enamelwork field. Side panel displays front executive's name "Tyner" above 63-19 record and NBA insignia. Additional side panel has "Bad Boys" titling above Pistons and Lakers team names with rendering of "The Palace" stadium. Stamped on interior ring band, "Herbert Tyner Advisory Board" along with "14k Jostens" hallmark. Very fine general condition with some relatively minor surface wear.
