Description: Denver Rockets professional model basketball jersey c.1971-73. Purple tank top jersey retaining "Denver" team name along with "24" in gold on the front with matching "24" on back. Proper Sand Knit manufacturer's label affixed to tail front with size 46 indicator. Additional "Exclusive Designed and Tailored for the Denver Rockets" label above. Very strong evident use and wash wear throughout with small hole at bottom of tail front, few areas of age toning, and vestiges of stitching holes from missing nameplate on back. During style period for the jersey Dwight Waller and John Trapp wore uniform number 24. Uncommon early NBA franchise jersey style.
