Description: 1961 New York Yankees autographed banquet program with Roger Maris. Heavy stock program (just under 12"x9" when laid flat) issued for an event which took place at the Hotel Astor on April 10, 1961 in honor of the reigning American League Champions. It has been signed on the inside by (20) team members including Roger Maris, Duke Maas, Tony Kubek, Elston Howard, Bobby Richardson, Ralph Terry, John Blanchard, Bob Turley, and others. Ink signatures rate 7 to 8 out of 10. The Yankees would open their season the following day. It would be one of the most memorable in history as Maris and Mickey Mantle battled to see which would emerge as the new single season home run king and the team would claim a World Series title.
