Description: Rare Mickey Mantle autographed (3 times) 1957 Mission Soft Drinks large format advertising brochure. Oversized multi-page publication (11"x14") done on heavy stock has a large image of Mickey Mantle on the front cover with additional pictures inside. It was done to promote "Mission Orange", a soft drink which Mantle endorsed, and was intended for distribution to retailers to relay the extent to which the company planned to promote the beverage. It has been signed by Mantle on the front cover, the first inside page (a batting image), and again on the back of the first page over a reproduction of the front page of a 1956 issue of The Daily News (with "Mantle's 50th Wins Pennant" headline). All are done in marker rating 8 out of 10 or better. Mild handling and storage wear with some minor wrinkles and discoloration. The most notable flaw is a scuff to the upper left front corner. Notably rare with this being the first example we have seen or offered (signed or unsigned). Incidentally, Mission is the same Company which produced the popular "My Greatest Thrills In Baseball" comic book (with the book pictured inside several times). Includes auction LOA from JSA: Sigs.
