Description: 1911 E94 George Close Candy Cy Young (SGC 5.5 EX+, highest graded). Striking card picturing the venerable Cy Young in pitching pose set against a stark gold colored background. Exceptionally well centered (both front and back) and in outstanding condition with the very slightest touch to extreme corners. This one of (3) examples which has been graded 5.5 EX+ by SGC and they list none higher in their population report. A key card from the series and one of the most visually appealing dating to the period.
