Description: 1961 Roger Maris photograph - "61 For '61?" (PSA/DNA "Type I"). Black and white 7"x9" photograph showing Roger Maris in the Yankees locker room on September 30, 1961. Original paper caption on the back titled "61 For '61?" notes that he had tied Babe Ruth's single season homerun record and had just one game left to break it. He would do so the following day hitting one off Tracy Stallard of the Red Sox to establish the new high watermark which would stand until 1998. In fine overall condition with a hint of light wear.
