Description:Unique 1931 United States All-Star Team Tour of Japan autographed baseball with Triple Play Attribution. Toned and clear coated Kajimaya "International" model baseball signed on a side panel by Willie Kamm, Rabbit Maranville, and George Kelly ranging from 7-8 out of 10. Additional period ink inscription on the ball denoting "Triple Play At Shemoneseki, Japan Nov. 24, 1931 Kamm-P to Maranville-SS to Kelly-1st B". The ball clearly exhibits game use and is consistent with other documented Kajimaya model baseballs from game play. Interesting and likely unique surviving item from the rarely accomplished defensive related feat from one of the most prominent Japanese tours by the American players. Includes auction LOA from JSA (autographs) and signed letter of provenance from Geddy Lee with this lot featured in Geddy's forthcoming book "72 Stories from the Collection of Geddy Lee". A signed copy of the book will accompany the winning bid of this lot: Ball: VG, Signatures: NM
