Description: July 23, 1969 Johnny Bench All-Star Game home run baseball. Reach J.Cronin Official American League baseball was hit by Bench for a home run in the second inning of the game played in Washington. The National League would go on to win (9-3). The ball displays use and surface wear and has been decorated throughout with text related to the game which reads in part, "Johnny Bench Home Run, Hit Off Of Stottlemyer...Memorial Stadium, Washington, D.C...." In video of the event the ball can be seen bouncing from the outfield stands back onto the field explaining how it made its' way back to Bench. A rare exceedingly well documented All-Star Game ball with unusually strong provenance. Includes letter of provenance from Johnny Bench: EX
