Description: 1898 Boston Beaneaters vs. Cleveland Spiders scorecard - Kid Nichols wins one of his League leading (31) games (VG) Original heavy stock scorecard issued for a game played at the South End Grounds during the Beaneaters National League Championship season. Boston won the game with Kid Nichols notching one of what would become (31) total wins that year. Other participating Hall of Famers include Billy Hamilton, Jimmy Collins, Jesse Burkett, and Bobby Wallace. Issued folded along the horizontal crease which can be seen at center, it has been neatly scored in pencil for what is likely the August 13th game. Expected age toning throughout with some light corner and edge wear. A pair of faint vertical folds have been well pressed out through years of flat storage: VG ($400-$600)Final Bid: $275.00
