Description: 1980 Bobby Wine professional model Philadelphia Phillies hat as worn Oct. 12 during NL Pennant clinching game and 1980 World Series ball (VG-EX) Philadelphia Phillies hat by Wilson displays evident useage wear throughout. Period black marker "7" appears on underside of brim and in addition there is a notation which reads, "Winning hat." Additional notation inside sweatband reads in full, "1980 Houston Astros, National League Champs, Oct 12 1980." The Phillies defeated Houston in dramatic fashion and went on the win a fabled World Series. Hat has some scattered moth holes but offers fine display qualities. Includes Rawlings B.Kuhn Official 1980 World Series logo baseball (vintage example with "Haiti" stamp on sweetspot) which displays light toning and a touch of light surface/usage wear (as retained by Bobby Wine whom attests to it's use in the Series) and a letter of provenance from Bobby Wine: VG-EX ($200-$400)Final Bid: $246.00
