Description: Rare 1948 New York Yankees football jersey. Vibrant red, white, and blue shirt from the All-America Conference team retains orig. May & Halas tag in tail flap along with size tag. #52 on front and back remains intact, sleeves have nicely embroidered red stars running down the side. Originated from the personal collection of Roman Bentz who played for the Yankees and later the Redskins and 49ers. Great vintage jersey from an obscure early professional team. Includes letter of provenance from consignor: EX-MT
