Description: Addie Joss Day photograph from Walter Johnson's personal collection. Sepia tone image of Gabby Street, Frank Baker, Walter Johnson, and Joe Wood relaxing in the All-Stars dugout during the July 24, 1911 Addie Joss Day benefit game played in Cleveland. Pleasing candid shot of the four players with all but Johnson identified on front by last name written by Johnson himself. Photo is 4 3/4"x6 1/2" with fairly heavy creasing and some staining on back but retains nice image clarity. One of only a few original images taken of that game extant today, includes letter of provenance from Johnson's grandson Hank Thomas: GD-VG
