Description: Lot of two 19th century related baseball photographs c.1860-70. Unique pair to include CDV of baseball game in progress in front of large stone building. Players are definitively professional quality based upon uniform style, marked on back Northampton, MA with great imagery incl. spectators hanging out of windows on building. 21/2”x41/4” with three pinholes on top edge: VG. Lot also includes a stereoview card taken on the same day picturing a batter awaiting the pitch. One of a series of “Connecticut Valley” views issued by photographer Knowlton Bros. (Same as CDV).
