Description: Fine figural basketball trophy c.1920s. Imposing 29" tall silverplated trophy features exceptional craftsmanship and detail. Slender columnar body terminates in a nearly life size basketball top with a figural player positioned at the apex. Inscribed on front, "Wm. A. Reid Trophy" with several dates from 1929-1932 etched onto the reverse. The trophy remains in original condition with some natural patination to several areas of the surface.
