Description: Ricky Craven 1996 NASCAR driver's suit. Kodiak Racing team "future suit" manufactured by Simpson exclusively for driver Rickey Craven features numerous embroidered and applied sponsorship logos. Craven's name is embroidered on the right breast. Appropriate Simpson tagging is present in the collar with additional dating flag tag reading "2/96". Back of the collar is embroidered "Future Suit 2-1450". Suit shows exceptional usage wear throughout. In 1995 Ricky Craven won the NASCAR Winston Cup Series Rookie of the Year honors. Craven started the 1996 season extremely strong, with two top-five finishes and four top-tens in the first six races of the year. He won his first Winston Cup Series pole at Martinsville in April and his second at New Hampshire in July that year. The suit originates from the collection of a former racing photographer.
